Adding CSS

Sometimes, in order to get the frontend display to look exactly the way you want, you’ll need to use some custom CSS. Adding it to your site is straightforward.

WordPress Customizer

WordPress provides a way to add CSS to your site inside the Customizer. Navigate to Appearance > Customize then open the Additional CSS panel.

CSS added here will apply to the entire site but it is install specific so if you run a multisite installation or switch themes, you’ll need to save your custom CSS or it will get lost. For more information on how to use the default Custom CSS function, please refer to the WordPress documentation.

Looking for a Per-Page CSS Solution

If you want to add CSS on a per page or post basis, we recommend installing the Simple CSS. plugin from Tom Usborne. This plugin allows you to enter CSS into a nice editor in your Dashboard without having to create any files or do anything else complicated.
